Fabian de Ponte Müller presented the VIDETEC-2 project at the annual C2C Forum, organized by the C2C Communications Consortium. In his presentation, Fabian highlighted the advantages of RF technologies for infrastructure-side perception and situational awareness, addressing the limitations of vision-based systems. He introduced the VIDETEC-2 technologies, micro-Doppler radar and CLS (Communication, Localization, and Surveillance). Fabian also showcased the test setup and shared preliminary results from the measurement campaign conducted in July 2023. In the CAR 2 CAR Communication Consortium, leading European and international vehicles manufacturers, equipment suppliers, engineering companies, road operators and research institutions join forces for saving lives by research and development of C-ITS solutions facilitating to overcome road accidents (vision zero).
